My grandfather,

Slipped free from this mortal coil yesterday evening,
Around 6:15 p.m. CST

It has been a long time coming,
But it is still a little painful.

He donated his body to science,
No Wake.
No Funeral.
No Tombstone.

A memorial mass to be held on friday. Not sure what the details are yet. I will
be back in New Orleans tuesday night or early Wed. Not exactly sure yet. I
kinda feel a bit apathetic right now. I think I just want a couple of drinks.

08/09/2004 - Lanz: My condolences sir. Having recently lost a close family member who was also, an incredibly good man, much better then I gave him credit for. I wish you, and your family peace through this change. If there is anything I can do, even if it is just talk, don't hesitate to let me know. And as for bill, raise a glass for me. I never mett the man, but their are too few truly good men in the world. The loss of even one is devastating.
