I've hacked edge flip into Metacity in my spare time. Some others noticed and the section outgrew this page. The patches etc. can now be found here.
A silly little utility I wrote one afternoon while attempting to
decypher someone's title on a mud. I believe it said something to the
affect of BORED. I was entertained by the irony.
In 1997 I hacked together a timeclock setup in perl for Internet Doorway, Inc. as a side project while I was working the graveyard shift. They hired a bright young man soon after who replaced it all with approximately 50 lines of ASP and some database triggers. Quite impressive. This is here simply as an easy to follow chunk of perl. It does work however if you have need of a quick and dirty timeclock.
